The Ministry of Trade wishes to inform Exporters and the general public that it has started issuing Maize Export Licenses. This decision has been taken by Government to allow the economy offtake excess stocks of maize from lasy year's harvest for export and to create storage room for this year's harvest.

The Ministry wishes to stress that the Maize export licenses will only be issue to Exporters with proof of verifiable Maize stocks from the previous Agriculture Season.
