Procedure Step Description Required Documents
1 The exporter should go to the Environmental Affairs Department and meet the Director who will direct to the responsible officer.  
2 The exporter will then fill a form provided by the officer  which will include the discription of the gentic material, quantity, location of access and proof of Mutually Agreed Terms with the communities or institutiuons that own the genetic resources  and its associated genetic resource.  
3 A decison is communicated to the applicant within reasonable time which precisely is a month.  
4 Upon issuance of a licence the exporter is suposed to pay a fee of 300 US dollars.
