The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) is implementing a project on Enhancing Regional Agricultural Commodity Trade in the COMESA region through the establishment of Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs) among the trading partner states. Subsequently, National Technical Working Groups in participating Member States including Malawi, were established in order to have an oversight role in the implementation of the project and operationalize the MRAs at the national level.
The COMESA Secretariat is therefore facilitating recruitment of National Consultants in order to support the NTWG to carry out their mandate and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
Therefore, the Ministry is inviting all interested parties to submit their Curriculum Vitaes respectively for consideration and determination of a Local Consultant.
Applications titled 'National Consultant for the Implementation of Mutual Recognition Agreements under the COMESA-AGRA Project' should be submitted to the Ministry, not later than 29 July, 2024 to the following address:
The Secretary for Trade and Industry
