Procedure Step Description Required Documents
1 Fill application on a prescribed form  made to the Malawi Energy and Regulatory Authority  
2 The application must be accompanied by fees published in a Gazette; and a schedule of the proposed tariffs which the applicant intends to charge  
3 The application is then advertised at the expense of the applicant  
4 If the application if successful, the Authority notifies the applicant.
