Steps Description Required Documents
1 Importer fills application form for phytosanitary certificate and submits to DARS   
2 DARS reviews the application if properly completed  
3 If the application if complete and correct the DARS assigns an inspector to inspect the plants to be emported or exported  
4 Inspector inspects the plants to be imported and submits results to DARS  
5 DARS reviews the inspection results  
5.1 If the plants pass the inspection DARS issues a Phytosanitary certificate  
5.2 If the plants fail the inspection the plant are quarantined
